Judy is a passionate Dietitian in Australia and Taiwan. She has a strong food and nutrition background in research, clinical dietetics and food service management.
While working in the hospital, Judy has experience caring for thousands of patients. It was a time that she had seen the fragility and impermanence of life, the patients suffering from the disease, and felt that painfulness was projected on herself. Therefore, she would like to continually contribute to her profession, helping people to live their lives with greater health.
Judy believes that food is like a tonic of life, which not only affects physical health but also emotional wellbeing. Food has a special meaning for everyone. Have you ever evoked a memory because of a certain food? Or remember someone when eating a certain food? Or even you can tell your story through a certain food? Judy realises that food is not only about nutrition to improve greater health, but also can bring people happiness. Food is just like a human in that it can bring much enjoyment to live with. She understands that a healthy relationship with food plays an important role in overall health and wellbeing.
When Judy was a child, she often heard “keep active to live well”. After she grew up, she realized that this phrase is concise and reasonable. Exercise is not only for young people, and the benefits bring by exercise are not only for young people. All age groups need exercise which can improve overall health, and reduce stress and anxiety. It's never too late to start exercising at any age, as long as you are willing to take action.
Judy is enthusiastic and passionate about providing evidence-based nutrition knowledge with a positive and realistic approach, and practical and sustainable recommendations for each individual to achieve optimal physical health at all levels.
